Evan's Ride for a Cure is a motorcycle ride that benefits the Histiocytosis Association of America.
Evan is a 6 year old boy from Lafayette who was diagnosed with LCH (Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis) in March 2007. The disease specifically attacked Evan's bones and he had lesions on his skull, spine, and ribs. Evan underwent surgery on his skull and had chemotherapy treatments to fight the disease. Evan is currently cancer free and excited about raising awareness and funds to be used in research so that a cure can be found for this disease.
All proceeds go directly to the Histiocytosis Association of America (HAA).
